It’s all about continual progress Dan. Don’t let
anyone tell you otherwise.
Every day you do not progress you stand a chance of regression…
the dreaded “fitness roller coaster”.
You do not want that. You want consistency.
But consistency… the greatest gift you can give yourself when it
comes to fitness and fatloss-plans… is not so easy.
Here’s my 2 Tips for Consistency.
And remember: Consistency is the deal-breaker. You can train and
eat consistently, but not “perfect” and make 10x the progress if
you ate perfect, stopped, started again…
… you know… exactly what almost everyone does!

TIP 1
Get A Coach
Wait, wait… I know what you may be thinking… “A coach? As in
personal trainer? Ha! In this economy?”
Well… yes. There’s a cheaper way to do it. I’ll share it with you
in a second.
But why a coach? Simple: A coach will push you further than you
will ever push yourself.
I don’t care how dedicated you are, a coach can double that
dedication, keep you super-consistent, and help you achieve your
results faster.
Like I said in my last letter to you, I use a coach every time I
get into peak shape. For me, that’s right now. I’ll be in the best
shape of my career (at 46 too) in about 4-5 weeks.
A big, big reason for this is my coach.
But guess what? My coach is not my trainer.
My coach is an email away.
That’s right: I use an email-based fitness coach. And believe me,
it works… and it works a heck of a lot cheaper than a personal
trainer.
I’ve used personal trainers before, and I like that too. I use one
during the final few weeks of a peak, but that’s a condition that
most people would never even want to be in.

on the buck compared to a live personal trainer.

Plan Your Workouts Ahead Of Time
Oh, how I wish I could patent this idea… ; )
My biggest secret for continual progress is pre-planning my
workouts.
I know ‘exactly’ what I’m going to do before I ever step foot out
of the house.
The result: My workouts ‘always’ net progression… and I enjoy
them more. I get stronger too because while I’m driving to the gym
I’m able to visualize exactly what I’m going to be doing.
Visualization is an athlete’s best friend. There’s not one single
professional athlete that does not imagine the throw before it
happens, or picture the race before they run it.
And study after study confirms one fact: This is the key to victory.
The same thing is true when it comes to fitness. Know what you’ll
be doing before you do it and your brain says, “Okay, ready to go!”
I’m talking about a night and day difference.
Now, here again is where Tip 1 is so crucial: Having a plan
requires some work. But a coach can give you a plan.
Apply that plan to Vince’s DVD exercises (or my workouts) and
presto: Your results will skyrocket.
